Kitsap House Rental

If you are a pet owner and you are in the market to rent a house then you probably by now know that many landlords do not want renters with pets. The reason for this is simple--pets can cause damage to carpets, rugs and floors.

When searching for a house to rent be sure and tell the prospective landlord up front that you have a pet or pets and ask whether it is permissible to have them. Understand that you will probably be asked to provide a higher security deposit if you have pets. This is to cover possible damage caused by the pet(s).

Before vacating a house you have rented consider hiring a cleaning crew to clean the house. Cleaning can remove pet stains and make a favorable impression on the landlord, who will then be more likely to return your security deposit.
